About This Company

Starting out from their Griffith Road base in Charlotte back in 2014, Best American Movers has grown into a family-owned operation that now stretches across multiple states including Florida, Maryland, Illinois, and California. What makes them different from the big national chains is their commitment to keeping things personal - they're still locally owned and operated with over 20 years of combined experience in the moving business. The company handles everything from small apartment moves to complex commercial relocations, but they're particularly known for their specialty item expertise, carefully moving delicate pieces like pianos, artwork, and antiques. Their pricing structure is refreshingly straightforward with four different service levels - Economy, Standard, Premium, and White Glove - so customers know exactly what they're getting. Best American Movers also includes 30 days of free storage with their long-distance moves and offers comprehensive insurance coverage beyond the basic 60 cents per pound federal requirement. The team prides itself on transparent communication throughout the process, with no surprise charges showing up on moving day like some competitors are known for.
