About This Company

From their Great Hills Trail location in North Austin, Mountain Movers ATX brings something different to the table that other moving companies miss - they call it "the grandmother rule," meaning every item gets handled like it belongs to their own family. This small, locally-owned business launched recently but quickly earned over 250 five-star reviews by doing what bigger companies struggle with: showing up on time and actually caring about customer belongings. Their team works as a tight unit, with regular crews like Jordan, Derrick, and Cesar who customers specifically request for return moves. Unlike competitors who use random day laborers, Mountain Movers invests in trained, uniformed staff who work together like a proven team. They serve the greater Austin area including downtown, Cedar Park, and Round Rock, handling everything from apartment moves to piano transportation for Austin's music community. What makes them stand out is their transparent pricing with zero hidden fees and their willingness to do complete packing services when other movers just want to load trucks. Customers consistently mention how they never had to help during moves, which sets them apart from Austin's typical moving experience.
